About WattCost

WattCost is a set of free, single-purpose calculators that estimate how much electricity an appliance costs to run. Every calculation happens in your browser — we never see your wattage, hours, or rate.

We built WattCost after realizing most "energy cost" tools were either buried in ads or asked for an account first. Ours stays plain: type your numbers, get a cost.

The wattages we pre-fill are typical values for common devices. Your real device may differ, so always check the rating label on the unit and adjust the field.
